Mountain Biking

Time for dirt.

Mountain Biking at
Coronet Peak

Our passion for biking comes alive across a vast network of some of Queenstown’s best downhill, enduro and cross-country trails, with lift access and bike shuttles keeping the laps rolling all day long. The Coronet Express gives riders quick access to the mountain, meaning you can load up, ride straight from the top into a huge range of trails, then head back up and do it all again with minimal downtime.

Coronet Peak’s world-class trails cater to every level of rider, from wide, flowy beginner trails to berm-filled descents and expert features built to challenge advanced riders. Whether you’re chasing progression, big days on the bike, or Epic Views between laps, the Peak delivers authentic riding and Good Times all summer long.

MTB Rentals

We’ve got a fleet of Cannondale Habit LT 2 and Commencal Clash Essential mountain bikes available to hire on the mountain, with a range of sizes to suit every rider. Built for Coronet’s world-class trails, they’re ready for everything from flowing laps to full-send downhill runs. Stock is limited, so we recommend booking online in advance and choosing either a full-day or 4-hour rental. All bikes come fitted with flat pedals as standard, and our on-site workshop team will fine-tune your setup and keep everything running smoothly throughout the day.

Bike Shuttle

Coronet Peak offers a bookable Mountain Bike Shuttle on operational days, making it easy to maximise your laps and spend more time on Hero Dirt. Ride from the top of the Coronet Express chair all the way to the base of the mountain, then jump on the shuttle and head straight back up to do it all again. More downhill. More fast laps. Less waiting around. Shuttle spaces are limited and bookings are required. Reserve your spot online, with our Guest Services team on the mountain, or at the Snow Centre, 25 Shotover Street.
