All vehicles are permitted to access Coronet Peak and 4WD vehicles are not required. However, depending on your vehicle, you may need to fit snow chains, and there can be restrictions on high-sided vehicles such as campervans during inclement weather.

If you’re travelling in a rental vehicle, we recommend checking with your rental company before your visit, as driving on alpine roads or using snow chains is not always covered.

We love snow, it’s what we do. But when Mother Nature is a little shy, we like to give her a hand.

‍

There are three key factors that create the ideal conditions for us to make fantastic snow:

• Cold temperatures, -2.5 wet-bulb at a minimum (wet-bulb is a calculation of humidity and ambient temperature)
• Light to no wind
• Clear skies and no moisture in the air

‍

We have 232 fully automated snow guns, supplied with water by 9 pumps from 4 pump-houses capable of flowing 300+ litres per second. 5 reservoirs with a storage capacity of 285,000,000 litres.

‍

We catch and reuse 80% of the water that we use. All this makes for the biggest automated system in the southern hemisphere!

To Change Your Booking: 

You can make some changes to your reservations, subject to availability. 

• Log in to your account and head to your Profile page 
• Select "OVERVIEW" and then "ORDER HISTORY" 
• Find your order and select "DETAILS" 
• Select "RESERVATIONS" 
• Select "RESCHEDULE" and then your preferred date.

Changing Lesson Reservations: Lessons are subject to availability and must be rescheduled no later than 24 hours before your lesson start time.

All of your products will be loaded to your MyPass Card. This is essentially your ticket to the mountain, to access the lifts at Coronet Peak, The Remarkables or Mt Hutt you will need a MyPass Card assigned to your profile with your products loaded onto it.

• You can collect your MyPass Card by scanning the barcode in your confirmation email at one of our Kiosks or by visiting Guest Services.
• Using the Kiosk: Simply scan the barcode in your confirmation email and the Kiosk will print your MyPass card - from there you can head straight to the lift.

We keep things simple up here at Mt Hutt. Everything you need for a smooth day on the snow is right at base, no mucking about.

You’ll find bathrooms, changing areas, outside storage for easy access, and paid storage lockers in our Base Building. Whether you're travelling light or toting the full whānau setup, we’ve got space to stash your gear while you hit the slopes.

First time up the hill? Travelling light? Our on-mountain Rental Centre has you sorted with skis, snowboards, boots, helmets and waterproof outerwear.

We have a range of cafes & restaurants on-mountain to keep you fueled for the day whether you're looking for a hearty meal, quick snack, or a cheeky aperol to end your day on a high, we've got something to match your speed.

How long is my Superpass valid for? 

A Superpass is valid for the NZSki (Coronet Peak, TheRemarakbles, Mt Hutt) operational season the year in which the pass waspurchased for. Please note that different ski resorts may have different datesfor their winter season. Please check their websites in advance.

How to Redeem Your Superpass?

It’s easy! Just use the unique code on the back of your MyPass card. Take your MyPass card straight to any Superpass mountain orpartner to redeem your credit or pass. That’s it - no hassle, just more ways toenjoy your ski trip.

Where can I collect my MyPass card from?

Before you ski at Coronet Peak, The Remarkables or Mt Hutt,you will need to collect your MyPass card. This is your ticket to these mountains.

• Queenstown Snow Centre: If you're planning to visit Coronet Peak or The Remarkables in Queenstown, we recommend you collect your MyPass card in advance at The Snow Centre at 25 Shotover Street.
• Methven Snow Desk: If you're planning to visit Mt Hutt and are staying in Methven, we recommend you collect your MyPass card in advance from our Town Office at 94 Main Street between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.
• If you are visiting one of our Superpass Partners before youhave collected your MyPass card, you will need to show their Guest Services team your confirmation email and order receipt.

What if I lose my MyPass card?

‍If you lose or misplace your MyPass card or it is stolen, please report this immediately to NZSki Guest Services byemailing [email protected] so they can suspend/cancel it and re-issue a replacement. A card replacement fee of $5 may apply.

Can someone else redeem my Superpass?

No. Superpasses are non-transferable. The named pass holder must be present to receive the credit towards the partners product, service oractivity. Parents/Guardians can redeem passes on behalf of children. 

‍

What else do I need to know?

Only 1 Superpass can be redeemed per transaction. Superpass credit can only be used in a single transaction. For example, if you spend $10 of your credit, the remaining balance will no longer be available. Each fullday of skiing = 1 Superpass.

All Season Passes have anoptional Medical & Injury Protection Add On that provides for full or partial refund on your season pass where an injury, medical condition or pregnancy precludes or significantly limits the ability to use the pass. Terms & Conditions apply.

Yes, you can split the cost of your season pass with our monthly instalment option. Pay just $50 for your first payment and the rest next year with our Super Earlybird payment plan if you purchase by 31 October 2025. From 1 November 2025, you can still purchase on instalments. However, the cost per instalment payment may change. Terms & Conditions apply, see our full disclosure statement, including instalment dates here.

Mt Hutt Season Pass & 3 Peak Pass products generally have no blackout dates, meaning you can ski or ride whenever the mountain is open. Some international pass combinations, such as Ikon Pass & Ikon Base Pass products, may include blackout dates at certain destinations.

A 3 Peak Pass gives you unlimited access to ski Coronet Peak, The Remarkables and Mt Hutt all season long. But that's just the beginning as we've got a bunch of pass perks you can enjoy on and off the mountains.
