- Custom Feel: Performance gear provides a more personalised fit, enhancing comfort and reducing fatigue, so you can ski longer and stronger.
- Change to get the most from the conditions: Try out any ski or snowboard that suits the conditions on the day. For example, get your performance carvers on in the morning and swap them for some powder skis in the afternoon.

Performance Rental Includes:
- Skis or Snowboard, boots, poles or wristguards, helmet
- If you already have some gear, talk to Guest Services for part-set rentals
- Ski more & Save - Our daily rates improve with the more days you hire. Please note the discount only applies to consecutive day bookings. If you are looking for occasional / non consecutive days you will need to purchase multiple individual days at full price
- Ages:
- We do not have performance equipment specifically for children, but our range may fit some kids aged 14+, depending on their height. Please visit our rentals team on the mountain for more information.
- Getting Fitted - Our experienced team will get you fitted and on snow quickly
- If you have a lesson booked, allow up to an hour for orientation, gear fitting and collection before your lesson start time
- Overnight Storage - If you're returning to the mountain the next day, talk to our team about our overnight storage option. We'll store your gear overnight so you can quickly collect it the next morning and get straight onto the snow.
- Damages and late returns - All our rental gear is electronically tracked and allocated to you. If it is damaged or not returned when due you can expect to have a conversation with our staff about additional charges. If you don’t return the rental equipment at all you can expect the NZ Police to be notified and the cost of replacing the equipment to be sought.
- Where to Collect Equipment - Pick up your gear on the mountain at Coronet Peak, The Remarkables, or Mt Hutt
- Please Note: Performance rental stock is limited and subject to availability.
What's Not Included
- Goggles and Gloves - these can be purchased from our retail shop on mountain
- Clothing - Jacket and Pants Rentals can be hired from us separately
